The world's premier flat track motorcycle racing series will celebrate its annual Labor Day weekend doubleheader at the Springfield Fairgrounds, on Saturday, August 30th, and Sunday, August 31st. You don't want to miss all the action!
The Prestigious Springfield Mile ran its first AMA national in 1937. From 1946 to 1953 the championship was determined by winning this one race. This is how Springfield became a must win race and the legend was born. The race ran annually from 1946 to 1966 during the Illinois State Fair.
