The Piasa Free Trappers Rendezvous takes place on the banks of the Illinois River in Hardin. See pre-1840 history come to life as folks dress in clothing from the period and provide demonstrations including archery, tomahawk, throwing, knife throwing and more. Visit a large variety of traders and vendors eager to sell items representative of the era, watch traditional handcrafting techniques, listen to historic recreations, watch flint and steel, tomahawk, knife throwing, and blacksmith demonstrations, enjoy food from vendors, and more!
