Throughout the 4-hour event, guests enjoy a fire, live music and reconnect with wide open spaces in one of the nation’s richest agricultural communities, Grant Park (IL) located in Kankakee County – 43 miles south of downtown Chicago.
Recognized as one of Illinois' premier agri-tourism destinations, Locavore Farm offers its signature Dine on the Land experience. Every season, the Jones family grows ingredients for a feast served at their 110 ft. farm table, set out in the field on their 30-acre regenerative, permaculture farm. Guests arrive & check-in at the bar to raise a glass to the slow life before a tour. Ingredients are picked hours before and the outdoors becomes a rustic kitchen where every course is smoked, charred, & roasted.
