Our primary interest is in gathering, preserving and providing research information on Vermilion County, Illinois and the surrounding areas.

Danville's Illiana Genealogical and Historical Society hosts a library of over 10,000 volumes used for genealogical research in Illinois and Indiana. The library is one of the oldest and largest in Illinois and welcomes guests from all over the United States and around the world.
