St. Charles Holiday Homecoming 2024

The most magical time of the year in St. Charles, IL – Holiday Homecoming. This two-day event kicks-off with the Lighting of the Lights Ceremony on Friday, November 29th at 5pm, featuring a special guest from the North Pole, and photo opportunities to capture a memory. The next morning, enjoy a free screening of The Grinch at Arcada Theatre at 10am, and support local during the Shop Crawl that takes place through Sunday. This year's 2024 Electric Christmas Parade Grand Marshal is Jarrett Payton and Family! Jarrett Payton, son of the late Chicago Bears legend, Walter Payton, currently resides in St. Charles. Payton is a television host, motivational speaker, businessman, philanthropist, former NFL and CFL running back and devoted husband and father. In 2011, Payton founded the Jarrett Payton Foundation which positively impacts the lives of children and adolescents by creating and providing programs that present them with a wide variety of opportunities and to help develop their leadership skills and enrich their lives.
