Great Godfrey Maze

Looks like this event has already taken place.

Sat, Sep 17 – Sun, Oct 30, 2022 • 6:00pm - 10:00pm

1401 Stamper Lane, Godfrey, IL 62035

This year's Great Godfrey Maze will open September 16 and be open until October 30! The theme for 2022 is Circus! Weave your way through a big top, around a performing elephant, lion, sea lion, and clown and see if you can make it to the exit!

Located in Robert E. Glazebrook Park, The Great Godfrey Maze is open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, Labor Day and Columbus Day and is open after dark Fridays and Saturdays. Flashlights are required for those traveling the twists and turns of the maze after dark. Flashlights are available for purchase.

This year's Godfrey Maze will look a bit different than previous versions- due to a soil nutrient deficiency and several years of failing corn crop, the maze will no longer be grown of corn but of hemp! Hemp can thrive in low nutrient conditions, grows tall, thick and fast, is cheaper, and doesn't require chemicals to grow well- it's a perfect plant to create a great maze!

While the Great Godfrey Maze is the largest attraction, it is not the only one on offer. Ride the Cow Train for $2 per ride, roll in corn at the Corn Crib for free for ages 10 and under, take Hay Wagon Rides for $2 per ride, and bound around on the giant Jumping Pillow— for $2 per ride , or come visit the newest attraction, the Vortex Machine- an illusion-based walk that will leave you dizzy with excitement!
