Elmhurst Art Museum is the cultural center of DuPage County and a welcoming center to view and experience the visual arts of our time in addition to presenting exhibitions of work by distinguished regional, national and international artists.
Exhibiting late 20th Century American Art, Elmhurst Art Museum offers exhibitions ranging from national touring works to local emerging and mid-career Chicago and Illinois artists. The Museum offers public tours, programs, guest lectures and art classes. Its award-winning structure contains a dramatic glass entrance gallery, three museum galleries, an educational pavilion, and the Ludwig Mies van der Rohe-designed McCormick house.
The Museum's Education Center and architecturally significant facility—encompassing Mies van der Rohe's McCormick House—enrich peoples lives by deepening their knowledge of art, architecture, and design, and increasing understanding of the relevance of visual art in our society.
