This park has picnic areas & playgrounds. The paved walking path is handicap accessible. Many of the trails have wooden foot bridges. The park has tennis courts, basketball courts and a variety of ball fields.
The beautiful and spacious Benton Community park has something for everyone. For family and community ‘get togethers’, it has a variety of sizes and types of well-kept picnic shelters and playgrounds near paved parking areas and restroom facilities.
For everyone from the casual walker to the jogger it has a wide paved walking path that is wheel chair and stroller accessible. Many of the jogging/walking trails have charming wooden foot bridges that invite into spacious vistas of green grass and trees dotted with flower gardens. This park even has a bamboo garden!
For those who love sports, the Benton Community Park has newly refurbished tennis courts and basketball courts. The baseball, softball and tee ball fields have concession stands and ample parking. Come visit the Benton Community Park, only 5 miles south of Rend Lake.
