Kick off the holiday season with Holly Days: shop downtown, visit Santa, run a 5k, and experience the Electric Parade.
Kicking off the holiday season with Aledo’s festive “Holly Days” event is the perfect way to come together to celebrate the holidays as a community. Start your holiday shopping in historic downtown at our local shops and with the vendors at the holiday market, enjoying a visit with Santa while you’re there. The annual “Hot Chocolate Hustle” 5k walk/run gives you an opportunity to get in one last outdoor run before the winter and to support the Aledo Main Street Scholarship Fund.
Our one-of-a-kind Electric Parade is always a favorite and continues to grow each year. Local groups, businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations decorate and compete in different categories for the best parade display, and the onlookers get a lighted show worth remembering for years to come.
