Fire Doll Studio is a Midwest based independent woman-owned artisan chandlery with a passion for health, sustainability, and the art of candle making.
Fire Doll Studio began in 2011 in the tiny kitchen of a small studio apartment in Champaign, Illinois when owner/chandler Kayla Brown was in nursing school. A love for beautiful candles and a life long battle with asthma led to the creation of a health-conscious natural candle that is friendly to the airway and can still fill a room with impactful fragrance and vibes. From the hands of a nurse, musician, artist, and lover of quirky design… you will find a lovely array of natural soy and beeswax candles including pillars, votives, tea lights, tapers and container candles thoughtfully designed to lighten the heart and ease the mind.
Our operation has grown from a very tiny kitchen a decade ago into a beautiful busy chandlery in Downtown Champaign, where we continue to grow and develop new ways to bring warmth and light into our community and beyond.
