The Axis Hotel by Hilton

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the ornate details from the construction of the Fifth Avenue Building in the late 1920’s have been preserved. The historical elements include the original terrazzo floors, marble and granite walls, elevator lobbies with coffered ceilings, lobby skylight and existing window locations – showcasing river views and providing an abundance of natural light. Each guest room has a unique design to fit the historical layout of the eight-story tower and features the amenities of the William Roam Steam Collection.

The Syndicate Bistro is located on the main floor of the hotel and offers a full bar, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The hotel is located in downtown Moline and is in walking distance to restaurants, pubs, entertainment, theatre, and several attractions are also nearby.  If you want to walk along the Mississippi River, the hotel is just three blocks from the river and bike rentals are available during the spring, summer and fall season through the Visit Quad Cities Visitor Center, which is also nearby.

Additionally, the hotel is a short drive from the many other attractions and entertainment options that are part of the Quad Cities region.
